Skyline Auxiliary Awards Student ScholarshipsMay 20, 2010 -The Volunteer Auxiliary of Skyline Medical Center recently awarded scholarships to two local students interested in pursuing careers in healthcare. Holly Harris and Taylor Odle are this years recipients and will be honored at the Annual Skyline Auxiliary Awards Banquet held at Skyline Madison Campus, a division of Skyline Medical center on July 29th. Holly is a senior at Beech Senior High School and is the daughter of Bryan and Tina Harris of Goodlettsville, TN. Holly plans on attending the Union University to study Nursing. Taylor is a senior at Springfield High School and is the son of Wade and Lisa Odle of Cedar Springfield, TN. Matthew plans on attending the University of TN-Knoxville and studying Physics and Pre-Med. Each student received a scholarship that is a four-year renewable $2,000.00 award and was established in 1999 in memory of the volunteers and friends of Nashville Memorial Hospital/Skyline Medical Center. The scholarship extends to high school seniors in the Davidson, Robertson, Cheatham and Sumner counties, plus employees children of the Skyline Hospital System who plan to pursue studies in the medical field. Other criteria include financial need, grade point average, college entrance test scores, community service, school leadership and extracurricular activities. Skyline Medical Center and Skyline Madison Campus, along with the Skyline Auxiliary, Inc. would like to congratulate both 2010 scholarship winners.
